The National Football League is proud to support the American Cancer Society with their impactful and evolved Crucial Catch initiative that now focuses on risk reduction and early cancer detection more broadly.
With this new approach to a multiple cancer platform, NFL teams can engage both in-stadium and within their communities in a various ways. Again, this October, the National Football League and American Cancer Society are teaming up for Crucial Catch to continue making our mark. We encourage you to sign up, recruit others, and fundraise to support.
The NFL will continue its focus on education, early detection, and screening, but expand these efforts to include more than just breast cancer. With this new approach to multiple cancers, NFL teams are now encouraged to support the cancer-fighting efforts that best impact their own community. Many teams will extend the reach of the NFL’s nationwide platform through local grassroots efforts focused on promoting cancer screenings, honoring cancer survivors, and planning special in-stadium or pre-game events in partnership with the Society.
